Word of the Day:
Friday comes from the name "Freya's Day." Freya was the Norse goddess of love and beauty, analogous to Aphrodite or Venus; and in fact, Friday corresponds to those same goddesses. The name of this day in other languages further reveal the attribution to Freya/Venus:
viernes (Spanish)
vendredi (French)
venerdi (Italian)
Freitag (German)
I can also tell you about all the other days of the week, because this is the shit we study in the occult. We'll save it for a drunken Saturday night.
Tangent: Freya is the name of one of my favorite characters in Final Fantasy IX. The other is Vivi, 'cause he's short and a mage, like me!
